Aw, man. Poor razor. And after all the times Jack tried to kill it and didn't succeed, it just goes and gives up the ghost for no reason. So sad.

It is an ex razor. It's pining for the beards. Are you sure it isn't stunned?

Saddest event: what will Santa ride to distribute gifts?

Well, maybe the girl who comes by at night can shave him. Or Gregory can come over and get educated in the Zen of his grandfather. Melissa would file three days ago yesterday if you asked her.

In my dad's last year he spent a lot of time in the hospital. His Norelco HAD to make every. single. visit. Then I left it in the wheelchair pouch one time. Gone. I don't think the new one (exact same model) ever satisfied him. I remember the sad, resigned look on his face when we realized the original was gone. It's been 20 years. Sigh.

For what it's worth, I don't trust electric razors that can be cleaned under a faucet. Tom had a razor with a top that held the blades that could be removed and washed. Motors don't respond well to water. I still have the Norelco which still works, and I use it occasionally.

Either take the chance of running it under water or allowing my father to take out the chancier heads and brush them. See what I'm up against?

I do, Barry, I do. It's probably wise to chalk up the cost of a new razor as a recurring expense than to have Jack take the thing apart.
