I haven't really laughed in about 6 or 7 years, don't know what it would sound like for comparison sake

I've got to get that back, seems like I'm rowing uphill most of the time. Take care as we both remember our mothers on this day. She made me laugh in hard situations and I miss that, alot

Your mother's sentence construction reminds me of the "Pennsylvania Dutch" I grew up hearing. Of course it wasn't Dutch, but Deustche. The German immigrants from whom I'm descended constructed their English with the grammar rules from their native language.
