OMG! Maybe Andrei, an immigrant, will help others understand why I love and still miss my home city. Mind you, not all natives of New Orleans love the city. A number don't get it and never got it. Friends of mine escaped my drowning, corrupt city in a nearly failed state without looking back. I'm consumed with nostalgia and have never stopped loving and looking back.
