"August Landmesser was a German man famous for appearing in a 1936 photograph refusing to perform the Nazi salute, a symbolic act of defiance against the regime. He had previously joined the Nazi Party but was expelled after falling in love with and becoming engaged to a Jewish woman, Irma Eckler. His refusal to marry under the Nuremberg Laws and subsequent persecution led to his imprisonment in a concentration camp and eventual death during World War II while serving in a forced labor battalion." Read that Nicole Kidman applied for citizenship in Portugal. She & Keith Urban applied for divorce. All the talk of fascism.
