Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, stopped by Sunday’s Meet the Press to remind us that illegal immigration is the most important issue of our time and he’ll stop at nothing to solve it — unless the Senate comes up with a plan to deal with it and then the most important issue of our time is impeaching Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security.
But before discussing Johnson’s hurt fee-fees at not being included in those Senate talks — he’s not in the Senate, not to put too fine a point on that — Johnson opined on foreign affairs and the mettle of presidents.
It didn’t go well.
