Defense Department Says It’s Not A “Jew” Thing
(Washington— Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026) Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced today he has cancelled the promotions of Jewish military personnel from four of the six services.
The four, Naval Vice Admiral Harvey Rabinowitz, Army General Maximillian Cohen, Marine Lieutenant General Leo “Srul” Lipner, and Air Force Lieutenant General Lou Jacobi, all 20-year veterans of the armed forces, were scheduled to receive promotions at a Pentagon ceremony
A Defense Department Spokesperson said of the cancellations: “This is not a Jew thing.”
